Easter Morning

I forgot about the pictures I took Easter morning of the boys so here they are.  They were pretty excited to look for all the treats the Easter Bunny left for them.

 

 

Hadwin Easter and April Birthdays

We celebrated Easter with the Hadwin family yesterday.  It started off with the Easter Egg Hunt that Aunty Kim organized, followed by a great supper.  Next the kids and 'big boys' went off launching rockets thanks to Uncle Graeme then returned for Birthday cake and presents.  Its was a great time and the weather cooperated for a nice afternoon as well.

Started Calving

We starting calving on Thursday.  Only had two so far but the boys are enjoying the calves so far.

LCL Angus Bull Sale

Cody's Brother and Sister-in-law hosted their first bull sale at their farm yesterday.  Previously they have sold their bulls by private treaty.  It was an extremely cold day but everything seemed to go off with out a hitch.

The New Harness

Cody bought himself a new set of harness for the team.  His borrowed set from his Dad was slowly falling apart due to age and wear.  It was better than Christmas for Cody & his Dad though.  They were pretty excited putting it all together and fitting in on the team.

I don't have a picture of the end result yet because I had to go in and make supper so I could make it to my curling game on time and it has been too cold to go for a ride with Cody in the mornings.
